STOPCOR® Boat

The Stopcor Boat Product Line is intended for maritime applications.

It has been specifically designed to protect the metal surfaces of ships/vessels such as the engine bay and the hull of the ship.

The method and technology is identical with the existing STOPCOR product line (intended for building facilities) with the only difference being the grounding method. The fact that ships are surrounded by water facilitates effective grounding. This is achieved by using one of the following ways:

A) Connection to the external grounding of the ship
B) Using electrodes constructed and fitted within a pipe which is immersed in sea water
C) Fitting the device to a cap/plug connected to the cooling system of the engine block or the coolant radiators of the engine bay

The total area of the surface we wish to protect determines the actual number and the size of the installed STOPCOR devices.
