CHECKING INSTRUCTIONS

Regularly, twice or three times a year it is advisable to perform an inspection of the device as follows:

We thoroughly check the stable contact point of the cable attached to the installation, the contact grounding point, the side grounding pin on the device, as well as the humidity of the device. We then measure the impressed current and if it is found to be above 1 volt, it means that the anode functions properly.

It is possible that the number is less that 1 volt but the device is still functional. In order to verify that, we disconnect one of its connection points and measure the device by itself. If the voltmeter shows more than 1 volt then we refit the device. If, after refitting, the device still shows a number less than 1 volt, then the installation requires fitting a second device in a row.

If the oupat of the grounding point on the cement is destroyed or cut by oxidation, we replace it by drilling a new hole in the ground and fitting a new one.

If either the grounding pin on the side is destroyed or the whole device has decayed, we immediately replace it with a new one.

By following these steps we ensure the proper care of our installation keeping it in optimal condition for a very long period of time.
